The Lambsgo Blah - Issue 6

1 May 2001

Hey.... How ya'll doin' out there ? May all your rainy days have a cup of something warm in them.

My friends the world is round and it can sometimes take a little bit of time to get from point A to point B no matter how short the distance may seem between them. Hence I am bored stupid talking of 1 am licenses, judges and all related subjects. Nonetheless we are about to embark on the journey of writing our proposal for the goddamn boring 1 am thingy. No really I'm enjoying myself! (Truly it's nowhere near as painful as I would have you believe).

Time to move on me thinks.

My friends the world is round and......speaking of which this fortnight, or how ever long it's been, has had us saying goodbye to our dear friend Nano who left on Anzac Day for a six week European holiday. Nano's sister Zil organised a small party (at which no one was allowed to have fun). Zil was working in the morning and didn't make it to the "Tank" (always a fun place at 3.30 am)

The next month or so sees a couple of other friends of the LGB heading for ...well Paris, and with Marc's friend Sasha stopping by to say hello for a week or so before heading back to Amsterdam we seem to be becoming a true jetsetters bar.

........and now for something completely different. You may or may not have noticed but our resident banquet chef Andy has gone and broken his damn leg now hasn't he ? Marc has taken the bad news in his stride and has cooked the last two banquets (bringing his fortnightly tally of daze working in the kitchen to a staggeringly grand total of fourteen out of fourteen. Ouch!

Speaking of kin not quite so happy with their current predicament, our dear Tony is well and truly plugged into the rather large people repairing machine, aka , St. Vincents hosp. Get well soon old son. No one is drinking hot chocolate...I'm outta practise.

Enough I hear you say, give us the low down...well let me tell you.. Miss Muttons (not 'Mutations' as the stupid spellcheck made me print in the last Blah) Trivia Nite has been goin' off. With so much inanity going on what could go wrong... just so you know it's on every Wed nite with one small exception (of course) being this week it's on Tues ..DOH. Many thanx to Jenny, Tanya , Liz and Emily. Those gals give their all.

Dj Cameron the man spinnin' the Discs most Fri nites is another one whose on his way OS soon but rest assured he'll be cuttin', choppin' an spinnin' dat drum'n'bass till he be on dat plane. Dj Lee from London, further proves our truly global status , plays his thang on Sat nites.

One last little titbit from Nick & Laura @ the tastefully fashionable shop LIVIT 321 Smith St "follow your dreams".

Time now to say adieu etc. hopfully we'll see you soon an' chew the fat to get the skinny an' wash it all down with a couple'o'beers. Thank you your a wonderful flock.

The LAMBSGO BLAH is a production of the LAMBSGO BAR 135 GREEVES ST. ph 84150511. (but it's not our fault)
