eBlah No: 1

6 October 2004

Hey Ho to all ewe webheads who've inadvertently tripped on to this website...... WELCOME.

This is THE first real e-Blah, true we've had the same old Blahs sitting there on our old neglected (yet beautifully crafted) LGB website, but this is the first REAL Blah to be written for our NEW, IMPROVED, BETTER THAN EVER, EWE BEAUT, UP-TO-DATE, INTERACTIVE, SUPERDUPPER lambsgobar.com.au WEB SITE.

And as such we should start by thanking those fantastic people at c2o.org, who have worked tirelessly to bring these fine pages in all it's glory to ewes out there in the global, cosmic, Never never land that is the internet, cheers kids and thank you, thank you, thank you.

Roight, now, down to business. For those uninitiated, the Blah is simply all the news, current affairs, trash and utter bullshit that goes on round these here parts.

So? You ask, what has been happening, the short answer is NOTHING (that's a lie but y'know it sounds great)…actually there's been shit loads of stuff happening. The 101 club has been running now for a month with 16 or so enthusiastic early starters all looking forward to tasting a 101 different beers from the famous LGB fridge, and to drink themselves on to the BLACKBOARD OF FAME, not to mention the free T-shirt that's guaranteed to give you that special "superior understanding of beer" feeling. Cheers kids.

October the 9th is the Lambsgo Bar's own very special take on election night – with 20% off the price of all drinks in the winning fridge door of the LGB's Beerselection. You have until then to cast your votes for your favourite door of the fridge.

WHEEL OF BEER is back on every Tuesday from 8pm till 10pm and is spinning up a storm. Now with Duvel 750ml joining Chimay Grand reserve 750ml on the list there's double the chance to win big. Remember folks, 'Everyone's a Winner!'
Friday's Free snags are still sizzling from 6pm and keep an eye out for the new kitchen coming soon (possibly November).

Roight now I could tell you 'bout fifty thousand other things but I'd be prattling, so for now it's goodbye, remember we're always here for you and your beer needs 4pm till 1am Mon to Sat, 4pm till 11pm Sunday. Oh, which reminds me we could well be starting an on-line bottle shop. Keep your ears close to the ground my cyber friends and you can wander through another of my diatribes again next month.

Ciao kids.

Ps. I know kids are baby goats but what do you want?...... lambettes???
