hey, punter of the month sounds cool, but do you win anything or get to have your embarressing admissions made public? keep that fridge stocked!
Hey Tom thanks for your question about the punter of the month. To Answer your question, no, you don't win anything, although if you do identify yourself next time your here we may well have to give you a hard time reguarding the personal info, you've given us through punter of the month. Ok ,so we'll probably give you a free pot or something....but there are no winners. Just the joy of sharing your personal drinking memories with the general public. Cheers.G
Greg, do you have tips for a reasonably priced sessional that ain't the run-of-the-mill standard we beer blokes lean to?
Dear Beer Bloke, did you mean seasonal (as in, a "spring beer" or the like, eg Cascade 4 seasons Spring)? if you did I'd suggest, Mountain Goat IPA, retail price is probably around $60 a case and you should be able to find it in speciality bottleshops in the next couple of months. but if you meant sessional, ie: taking a box to a barbie and going hard at it, then try, Amstel $32 at safeway, Amsterdam $29 Dan Murphy's, Tui $36 Acland St. Cellers, 3 Ravens blond $60? Swords Wine Stores, Pikes Oakbank $50? speciality liquor stores. theres a few. come in some time and I might be able to show you some other stuff....hope that answers your question. Cheers.Greg
Would you consider putting a cider on tap during the summer? I wonder if any local brewers are making ciders. Mmm imagine a Holgate or 3 Ravens or Grand Ridge cider. Or a Mountain Goat cider. I'm sure the Lambsgo Bar could find a barrel, if it exists.
Hi guys,
Love your bar. I read on another web site that you guys run a Dutch night one night a month. Is that still running, and if so, on what date?
Keep up the good work,
groetjes,
Frankie.
do you have absinth?
Dear Decider,
I'm undecided as to whether we could put a cider on for summer, none of the mirco breweries that i know of do a cider. so I do thinmk your chances are slim, however if you do find a locally produced that's worth the effort let me know and I'll see what we can do.
Cheers.
Greg
Hey Frank, thanks for thinking so highly of our little bar. Yeap there's a dutch jongerborrel (? I'm not the dutchie so pardon my spelling) it's on the first Thursday of every month which means it's on this Thursday the 4th. Come along if you can it's usually fun. Cheers. Greg
Hello Jane,
yeah we have absinth, at the moment we only have a french absinth which is 55% abv and is $10 a shot, we normally stock a Czech one as well but our supplier seems to be out of it at the moment. Cheers. Greg
